RUSSELL MARINE

Russell Marine has the capability to perform a wide range of marine construction projects which require crane barge capacities up to 440 tons. This capacity enables Russell Marine to complete waterfront construction projects ranging from new dock and pier construction, mono-pile and breasting structure installations, bridge construction and replacement, sheet pile installation, demolition, loading arm assembly and install, and mechanical dredging of barge and ship docks. Our marine construction projects are primarily located along the Gulf Coast, however, Russell Marine has the ability and resources to complete projects in other locations including the Caribbean Basin, Florida, Southeastern, and Gulf Coast Ports.

DAVID TAYLOR​

Operations Manager

David is the Operations Manager for Russell Marine with 25 years of experience in the marine construction industry. He has been with Russell Marine for 11 years and previously worked for other marine contractors, starting his career as a welder working his way through the ranks. He has handled a variety of aspects in the Marine and Industrial Sector from the pre-construction phase to executing work in the field.  His relationships with customers up and down the gulf coast are historical and he is extraordinarily well respected.  He was born and raised in Tarkington, Texas and now resides in Baytown, Texas and enjoys team roping and going to classic truck shows in his free time.

Rob Lewis

Senior Project Manager

Rob is a Senior Project Manager with Russell Marine LLC with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He has been operating in his current role with Russell Marine LLC for 1.5 years. Prior to his current role at Russell Marine, he worked for Orion Marine Group for 14 years as the Senior Vice President of Gulf Coast Construction Operations. Rob is a registered PE in both Texas and Florida, with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech University.  In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and watching college football.

Cameron Toups

Senior Project Manager

Cameron is a Project Manager for Russell Marine with 8 years of experience in the construction industry. He earned a degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He has been with Russell Marine for 2.5 years and has previously worked for Cajun Deep Foundations and McCarthy Building Companies Inc. as Estimator, Project Engineer, and Superintendent. He has handled a variety of aspects in the Marine and Industrial Sector from the pre-construction phase to managing work in the field. He was born and raised in Southeast Louisiana and enjoys playing golf in his free time.

Braden Ford

Project Manager

Braden is a Project Manager for Russell Marine LLC with 5 years of experience in the construction industry. Braden is responsible for managing marine construction projects for several of Russell Marine’s Clients. He has been executing projects for Russell Marine along the Houston Ship Channel and Gulf Coast for 2 Years. Prior to his employment with Russell Marine LLC, Braden worked for McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. During his time with McCarthy, Braden completed multiple marine and heavy civil projects for the Port of Houston, Magellan Midstream, and LBC Tank Terminals. During the weekdays, Braden enjoys spending his evenings exercising in his garage gym. On the weekends, you can typically find Braden at the golf course or in his kitchen preparing a delicious meal for family and friends.

Kenneth Lawler

Project Manager

Ken Lawler is a Project Manager in the Marine Division at Russell Marine, LLC, with 7 years of experience in the construction industry and 9 years of military service in the Army. He graduated from Iowa State University with bachelor’s degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering, in addition to earning a commission from the U.S. Army. He has worked for Traylor Bros as an Estimator, Senior Field Engineer, and Superintendent on various heavy civil projects between the West and Gulf Coasts. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, studying and admiring the structural design, and playing the guitar. 

Zachary Pelton

Project Manager

A native of Houston, TX, Zach Pelton has been leading projects in the marine construction industry for 4 years. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Business, and Entrepreneurial Studies. Zach brings a strong sense of dedication and positivity to the teams he leads, and he seeks to continuously develop his knowledge and that of others, evidenced by his Lean Six Sigma certification. When he isn’t running drilled shafts and structural concrete projects, he spends his time hunting whitetail, dove, and quail.
