Piling and Civil construction team has over 70 years of combined field experience in estimating, managing and providing a safe and quality end product to the general contractor and/or facility owner. Russell Marine’s target market is along the Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi gulf coast, servicing both the private and public sectors. Our piling and civil construction team is considered amongst the industry’s best, and there isn’t a job too big or small that we can’t execute.
Land Piling
Russell Marine began to focus our attention on the southern gulf coast land pile work in 2021 with the addition of several high-level individuals that focused on this market with their prior employers. Our target market will be both public and private owners and drawing on our reputation for performing quality work at a competitive price, reaching out to general contractors who will rely on us to perform pile driving, drilled shafts, helical anchors, and other types of deep foundations. This market has unlimited potential for us to grow another division in the company. We will apply the same methodology to bidding and performing work as in our marine and railroad divisions to grow this sector.

Mickey Thatcher
Senior Project Manager
Mickey is a Senior Project Manager for Russell Marine LLC with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Mickey joined Russell Marine LLC in 2021. Prior to his role at Russell Marine LLC, Mickey previously worked for Bo-Mac Contractors as a Piling Project Manager. He has been responsible for estimating and managing all land piling work consisting of pre-stressed concrete, pipe, timber, H-Pile, helical, sheet pile, and auger cast in place pile (ACIP). Mickey and his loving wife, Jessica, currently live in Mont Belvieu. Together, they have 4 daughters and 4 grandchildren that they enjoy spending as much time with as possible with. Mickey also has 3 golden retrievers, Atticus, Annabel, and Aggie, who love when he is home to spend time with them.
